Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Coppersmith Algorithm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raffer Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Coppersmith Algorithm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Raffer Steele!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Algorithm shoots in looking for a takedown. Steele tries to sprawl out of it but Algorithm keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Steele manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Algorithm darts in looking for a takedown but Steele gets double underhooks and turns Algorithm into the cage.

Algorithm breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Steele slaps away a takedown attempt from Algorithm, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Coppersmith Algorithm. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Algorithm looks for a takedown but Steele sprawls well.
Steele misses with a head kick.
Algorithm fails with a takedown attempt.
Algorithm closes this distance looking for a takedown but Steele circles away.
Steele catches Algorithm with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Steele looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Algorithm is defended easily by Steele.
Algorithm is breathing heavily.
Steele tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Steele connects with a solid leg kick.
Algorithm fails with a takedown attempt.
No luck for Algorithm with that takedown attempt.
Steele fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Algorithm manages to avoid it.
Algorithm is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Algorithm fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Steele throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Steele finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Algorithm looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A jab from Steele misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Steele, right into the meat.
Crunch! Steele slams his shin into Algorithm's torso.
Algorithm closes the distance and clinches up with Steele, looking for a takedown. Algorithm pushes Steele against the cage but Steele circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Algorithm steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Steele. That one must have hurt.
Steele connects with a leg kick. Algorithm looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Steele buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Algorithm. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Algorithm drops his hands momentarily and Steele needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Algorithm just on the top of the head. Algorithm drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Algorithm - he's done!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Raffer Steele!
Raffer Steele decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
