Franks lands a jab.
Franks clinches with his opponent.
Pivchy drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Franks ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Franks no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Pivchy trying to control but Franks is working from the bottom.
Pivchy showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Pivchy tries to free his leg and advance position but Franks is retaining full guard.
Pivchy passes Franks's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Franks really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Franks is refusing to be controlled, as Pivchy sits in half guard.
Franks trying to hold on to Pivchy's head to control him but Pivchy postures up.
Pivchy working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Franks's thigh. Franks counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Franks looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Franks trying to keep a closed guard but Pivchy is proving a slippery customer.
Franks keeping moving, preventing Pivchy from controlling successfully.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Franks closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Pivchy wants to take the fight to the mat but Franks manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Franks pulls guard.
Pivchy throws an elbow that misses. Franks uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Pivchy's guard. Nice move by Franks!
Pivchy controls Franks momentarily but Franks frees himself.
Pivchy is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Franks rolls with it to try and escape but Pivchy cranks on the arm and Franks is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
