Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Heinz Hadez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Tiberun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Heinz Hadez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jonathan Tiberun! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hadez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hadez looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Hadez tries a head kick but it misses.
Tiberun will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Tiberun misses with an uppercut. Hadez saw that one coming. Tiberun connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Heinz Hadez has been cut. Hadez has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Build Up Crossfit in the buildup to the fight. Tiberun waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hadez. Tiberun throws a leg kick which misses Hadez's front leg but catches the back leg as Hadez tries to avoid it. Hadez avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hadez slips under a jab. Hadez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A nice inside leg kick there by Tiberun. That's going to slow Hadez down. Tiberun throws a shot from downtown. Hadez moves away and avoids it. Hadez checks the leg kick nicely there.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Tiberun has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Tiberun looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Tiberun is working for a submission of some sort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tiberun winds up and cracks Hadez with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Tiberun lands strikes from half guard. Tiberun has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Tiberun is trying to control the action in half guard but Hadez is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Tiberun missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tiberun is looking for a kimura but Hadez is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tiberun to get the leverage. Tiberun is trying for a kimura here. Hadez looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Tiberun wins by kimura!
