Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abdoul Murquite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boca Naga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murquite comes to the cage accompanied by Não Posso Mais. Naga comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Wildes Ding kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Abdoul Murquite has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Abdoul Murquite!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Boca Naga!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murquite leaves Naga with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Naga.
Murquite connects with a high kick.


It looks like Boca Naga has been cut.
Naga shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Murquite defends it nicely.
Abdoul Murquite has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boca Naga.
Murquite tries to close the distance and clinch but Naga swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Murquite drops his hands momentarily and Naga takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Abdoul Murquite.
Well Murquite has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
