Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Lucas Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Travis Lucas Jr will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Travis Lucas Jr!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Hunt misses its intended target.
Hunt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lucas Jr.
Hunt shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lucas Jr as he avoids it easily.
Lucas Jr lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Hunt drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Hunt trying to control but Lucas Jr is working from the bottom.
Hunt throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lucas Jr works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hunt thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Lucas Jr not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hunt throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Hunt is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Hunt might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Hunt drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hunt jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hunt is desperately trying to improve his position but Lucas Jr has a good base and remains in mount.
Lucas Jr wants to control the pace but Hunt is squirming around nicely.

Lucas Jr tries to control but Hunt wriggling away.
Lucas Jr takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Hunt wants to hold on but Lucas Jr pushes him away.

Hunt tries to get back to half guard but can't.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lucas Jr fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hunt has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

It looks like John Hunt has been cut.

Lucas Jr dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hunt. That did some damage!

Hunt stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lucas Jr.

Hunt is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Lucas Jr Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Hunt is out cold, face down on the mat!

Travis Lucas Jr decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
