Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sith One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greco Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). One comes to the ring accompanied by Sith . Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
One shoots in but Roman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Roman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. One was covering up waiting for the punch and Roman finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
One can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Roman controls the pace.
Roman trying to control but One is working from the bottom.
Roman content to stall in guard here.
One has his foot on Roman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Roman works his way back into a safe position though.

Roman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. One swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Roman looking to sit in guard and control but One gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Our spies down at at Dark Horse MMA Academy inform us that Roman has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
One tries to free his leg and advance position but Roman is retaining full guard.
One works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Roman is defending against the submission attempts here by One.

One is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Roman is staying active underneath One, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

One wants to pass the guard but Roman is defending well.
One is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Roman has managed to free his arm - good work.

Roman is staying active underneath One, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
One is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Roman doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time One.

Roman has gone for a leg lock! One slips out almost immediately though and dives into Roman's guard.
One postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Roman is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of One, into his guard.

Roman wants to control from the top but One keeps moving.

Roman laying and praying for a moment but One takes advantage and regains half guard.

Roman is keen to just control but One is a slippery customer.
Roman wants to work for an arm triangle but One is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Roman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so One is just riding it out for now. Roman eventually gives up the hold.

Roman in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. One tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Roman!

After the fight, Greco Roman was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
