Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilson Cabrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cabrera has chosen Where The Hood At as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Randy George!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wilson Cabrera!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabrera tries to clinch up.
George keeps the fight on the outside.
Cabrera shoots in and drives through. George sprawls well.
Cabrera fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Cabrera shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts George as he jumps to the side.
Randy George has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wilson Cabrera.
George fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Cabrera fails in his attempt to clinch.
Cabrera tries to clinch but George moves out of range.
Cabrera tries to clinch up but George circles away and keeps his distance.

George decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
George is keen to just control but Cabrera is a slippery customer.
Cabrera is trying to control but can't.
George is looking to take a break and control but Cabrera is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cabrera blocking the ground and pound attempt from George.

Cabrera regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from George.
George trying to control the position from guard on top but Cabrera is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
George stops Cabrera from standing up.
George trying to control but Cabrera is working from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Cabrera tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cabrera fails in his attempt to clinch.
George misses with a takedown attempt - Cabrera sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Cabrera shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and George counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cabrera won't be happy with that.
George will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
George controls the position.
George lands a few punches from side control.
George misses with the ground and pound.
George is looking to take a break and control but Cabrera is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Cabrera is looking for a sweep.
George scoring with punches and elbows.

Cabrera takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
George taking a break here but Cabrera is having none of it and regains half guard.
George trying to control from half guard but Cabrera is working away.
George is breathing heavily.
Cabrera is trying to stand.
Cabrera is not content to let George control the position.
Cabrera gets back to full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

George gets to his feet. Cabrera looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Cabrera closes the distance but George moves to the side

and George counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
George wants to control from the top but Cabrera keeps moving.
George slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
George won't allow Cabrera to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Randy George dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



George closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
George seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Cabrera wants to control but George is keeping busy and won't allow it.
George not landing any meaningful shots this time.
George wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cabrera keeps working.
Cabrera tries to kick George off but George keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
George seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cabrera does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Cabrera darts in trying to clinch

and George counters by moving into the clinch.
Cabrera using the Thai plumb to throw knees but George has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Cabrera throws a knee to the head but misses.
Cabrera looking for a takedown.
Cabrera wants to stall.
Cabrera can't break the clinch.
Cabrera missing with knees to the body.
Cabrera is trying to stall.
Cabrera with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

George pulls guard.
George looking to control.
Cabrera must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

George looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Cabrera has picked George up and slammed him! George can't keep hold of the triangle and Cabrera manages to pass to side control!
George is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Cabrera's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
George is looking to get back to full guard here but Cabrera has managed to pass to side control instead.
Cabrera trying to control but he's not successful this time.
George tries to lock up and control but Cabrera gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

George is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Cabrera blocks George's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Cabrera wants to control the pace but George is squirming around nicely.
Cabrera content just to control the position here.
George is trying to stand up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
George is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Cabrera looking to control but George is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Cabrera thowing shots but they're missing.
Cabrera thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Randy George dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


George closes the distance and clinches up with Cabrera, looking for a takedown. George pushes Cabrera against the cage but Cabrera circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
George looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cabrera is fending him off so far but George persists. Nope, Cabrera circles away and we're back to standing.

George clinches up with Cabrera and pushes him back against the cage.
Cabrera with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Cabrera throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but George blocks it with crossed arms.
Cabrera misses with a knee to the head.
George tries to break the clinch but Cabrera is controlling the position.
Cabrera misses with a knee strike.

George has picked Cabrera up - he's going for a ride! George dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

George is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cabrera defends it well.
George thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Cabrera to regain full guard.
Cabrera not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cabrera wants to stand but George is controlling the position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cabrera preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Cabrera keeping moving, preventing George from controlling successfully.
George working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Cabrera tries to clinch but George moves away

and George counters by clinching up.

George pulls guard successfully.
George is striking off his back. Cabrera thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Cabrera missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
George regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Cabrera.

George has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cabrera can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Randy George overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
George is striking off his back. Cabrera thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
George is staying active underneath Cabrera, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
George is looking to improve his position.
Cabrera blocks the strikes from George.
George is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cabrera tries to clinch but George moves away

and George counters with a single leg into guard. Cabrera didn't expect that.
George trying to control but Cabrera is working from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cabrera manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. George manages to get himself to full guard.
George keeping moving, preventing Cabrera from controlling successfully.
Cabrera postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Wilson Cabrera has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
George controls Cabrera momentarily but Cabrera frees himself.

And that's the end of the fight!
Randy George showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for George, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
