Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Hands (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Big Hands will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Reed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Big Hands! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed instigates a clinch. Hands is trying to push Reed away but Reed has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Reed lands a takedown into guard.
Hands wants to stand up but Reed is controlling him. Hands keeping full guard, as Reed tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reed's corner is telling him to maintain position. Reed trying to control but Hands is working from the bottom. Reed won't allow Hands to get back to his feet. Hands looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Steve Reed. Hands looks to land a combination. Reed sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reed shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Nice straight punches there by Reed. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Reed.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reed throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Reed fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Big Hands is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hands displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Steve Reed has been cut. A combination from Hands does no damage. Reed shoots in for a takedown but Hands shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve Reed. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reed shoots for a double leg takedown but Hands sprawls well. He's pushed Reed's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hands throws a right and a left that Reed avoids nicely. Reed throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hands's waist but Hands gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Reed off to one side. Reed is breathing heavily. Hands throws a body punch but Reed moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice combination there by Hands.

Hands wants to get back to striking at distance but Reed won't allow it.
Hands is trying to force a seperation but Reed has the dominant position. Hands wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Hands tries to circle away but Reed has him pinned against the cage. Reed slows down the pace here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hands looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Reed taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Reed pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Reed shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hands but Hands pushes him off and we're back to square one. Steve Reed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No joy there for Hands, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A right-left combo lands from Hands. Reed is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Hands just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Reed has gone limp and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Big Hands! Big Hands was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
