The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dujardin looks to land a combination but Carter avoids it well.
Sloppy strikes from Carter. Those never looked like landing.
Carter misses with a hook. Dujardin ducked under it nicely.

Carter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dujardin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dujardin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Dujardin is looking to take this one to the mat.
Carter has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dujardin after a bit of a struggle.
Carter is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Dujardin to keep the fight standing.
Carter is breathing heavily.

Carter is trying to drag Dujardin to the mat but Dujardin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
