Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Deucheon Mandick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Subat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mandick thows a body shot but no joy.

Subat gets a takedown into half guard.
Subat thows a huge punch but Mandick dodges it nicely.

Subat looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Subat is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mandick doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Subat.

Mandick wants to get back to his feet.

Mandick has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Subat is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Subat slips a jab and a cross from Mandick.
Subat takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Mandick tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Subat decides to stand back up. Subat steps back and let's Mandick get back to his feet.

Subat fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mandick, pushing him back against the cage.

and Subat counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mandick's guard now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Subat stands and throws Mandick's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Subat tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Subat has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

That's time! Mandick's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Subat shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mandick as he jumps to the side.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mandick holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
