Snow has chosen Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight as his entrance music. Eric Snow has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Blaine Woodard's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Blaine Woodard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Eric Snow!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Woodard tries to sprawl but Snow drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Snow is trying to control the action in half guard but Woodard is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Woodard is looking to control Snow's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Woodard avoid being mounted?
Snow sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Snow is looking to take a break and control but Woodard is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Eric Snow was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Snow shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Snow was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Still in half guard, Snow seems content to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Woodard tries to kick Snow off but Snow keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Woodard is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Snow pulls his head out easily.

Well, if Snow is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Snow seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Snow trying to control the action but Woodard is working from the bottom.
Woodard is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Snow is controlling the pace.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Snow lands a nice short elbow.

Eric Snow has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Snow fails with the takedown.

Snow shoots in and bounces Woodard off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Snow trying to control but Woodard is working from the bottom.
Snow slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Snow postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Woodard is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Snow, into his guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Snow keeping moving, preventing Woodard from controlling successfully.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Blaine Woodard has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Nice takedown defense from Woodard. No joy for Snow on that attempt.
Snow shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Woodard pinned against the cage. Woodard gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eric Snow dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Snow avoids the head kick by Woodard.
Snow misses with a takedown attempt - Woodard sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Snow closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Woodard to the mat! Woodard manages to get full guard.
Snow throws a big right hand that misses.
Snow throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Woodard works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Snow trying to control the position from guard on top but Woodard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Woodard wants to stand but Snow is controlling the position.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Snow's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Snow is working Woodard over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Snow postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Snow is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Snow trying to control but Woodard is working from the bottom.
Snow might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Woodard haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Eric Snow was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Snow shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Eric Snow has got the better of the ground game so far.
Snow lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Snow wants to lay and pray for a moment but Woodard keeps working.
Snow content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Woodard on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Snow is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Woodard defends it well.

Snow looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Snow scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Snow wants to take a breather but Woodard is having none of it.

Snow is trying to control. Woodard wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Snow is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.


Woodard is rocked!
Snow looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Oh Woodard is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Snow lands a big elbow - Woodard is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Snow!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eric Snow!
After the fight, Eric Snow was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
