Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tataki Mizuto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nosmo Pleeze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tataki Mizuto has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tataki Mizuto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pleeze changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mizuto looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Mizuto gets back to half guard.
Pleeze wants to stand up but Mizuto has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Pleeze thows a huge punch but Mizuto dodges it nicely.
Mizuto tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Pleeze has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Pleeze wants to control but instead Mizuto manages to regain half guard.
Mizuto is defending against the submission attempts here by Pleeze.

Mizuto makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Pleeze decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Pleeze wants to control but Mizuto is keeping him busy.

Mizuto looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Mizuto really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Pleeze stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pleeze wants it to stay on the feet.
Pleeze shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Mizuto is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Pleeze must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Mizuto ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pleeze moves away.

Pleeze tries to work over Mizuto's front leg with a kick but Mizuto checks it.
Pleeze misses with a takedown attempt - Mizuto sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tataki Mizuto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pleeze throws a sloppy head kick and Mizuto moves out of range easily.
Pleeze tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mizuto swivels and escapes.
Mizuto fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pleeze sprawls well initially but Mizuto persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mizuto is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pleeze sees it coming and defends easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Nosmo Pleeze will probably get the nod.

Mizuto shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pleeze is trying to defend but Mizuto finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Pleeze is kicking away at Mizuto from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Mizuto grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a heel hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Pleeze trying to push Mizuto off... Pleeze taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
