Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Morten Paulsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caol Uno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paulsen comes into the arena with Papa Roach - Do or die blaring out of the sound system. Morten Paulsen has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Morten Paulsen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Caol Uno! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some bone on bone action there as Uno checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Uno walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Paulsen catches Uno with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Nice defenses there by Uno. Paulsen throws a looping overhand right but Uno ducks down to avoid it. Paulsen has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Uno uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Paulsen. Uno slips under a jab from Paulsen. Paulsen connects with a body shot. Uno gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Paulsen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Uno. Nice straight punches there by Paulsen. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Paulsen. Uno steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Paulsen. Paulsen misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Uno counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Paulsen working a defensive guard here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Paulsen looking for a sweep. Not yet Paulsen, not yet. Uno with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Uno accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Uno throwing strikes from guard but Paulsen blocks nicely. Uno keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Paulsen's head. Uno throws an elbow that misses. Paulsen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Uno's guard. Nice move by Paulsen! Uno tries to strike from the bottom.
Uno wants to sweep here but Paulsen controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Uno keeping full guard, as Paulsen tries to pass. Paulsen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Paulsen with a flurry of punches that miss. Paulsen stopping the sweep attempt from Uno. Uno is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Uno is still trying to improve position. Uno keeps trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Paulsen looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Paulsen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Morten Paulsen has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Uno slips under a jab. Paulsen throws a hook to the side of Uno's head but Uno sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Paulsen slaps away a takedown attempt from Uno, before circling back to the center of the mat. Paulsen throws a right hand that misses
and Uno counters with a takedown into side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Uno in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Paulsen is trying to improve his position. The ground and pound from Uno seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Caol Uno dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Paulsen lands with a nice body punch. Paulsen has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Uno finds it's way round the side to connect with Paulsen's head. Uno uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Paulsen. Uno looks to throw the jab but Paulsen is out of range. Paulsen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Uno sees it coming and avoids it easily. Morten Paulsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Paulsen with a nice cross. Uno tries for a takedown but Paulsen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Paulsen misses with a hook. Uno ducked under it nicely. Uno closes the distance and clinches up with Paulsen, looking for a takedown. Uno pushes Paulsen against the cage but Paulsen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Paulsen misses the shot to the body. Paulsen misses with an uppercut. Uno saw that one coming. Uno misses the shot to the body. Paulsen connects with a nice looking jab.
Uno throws a good cross that connects.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uno takes a jab right on the kisser.
Paulsen tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Uno is able to avoid easily. Paulsen connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Paulsen misses with a jab to the body
and Uno counters with a shoot takedown. Paulsen fights it but they end up in guard. Uno working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Paulsen keeping moving, preventing Uno from controlling successfully. Paulsen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Uno manages to get himself to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Uno lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Paulsen! Paulsen tries to lock up and control but Uno gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Uno punishing his opponent with strikes. Uno scoring with strikes but Paulsen is staying in there. Uno has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Uno sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Uno in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Paulsen tries to hold on but Uno pushes him away. Paulsen can't escape the position.

Paulsen is rocked! Uno looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Paulsen covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
