Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Bolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tre Danton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tre Danton has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Big Bolo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tre Danton!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danton tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bolo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Tre Danton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bolo tries to clinch but Danton moves out of range.
Danton throws a head kick but Bolo moves out of range.
Danton tries to bum rush Bolo with a series of wild strikes but Bolo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bolo blocks a head kick by Danton.
Bolo wants to clinch.
Bolo throws a sloppy head kick and Danton moves out of range easily.
Bolo shoots in for a takedown but Danton shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bolo fails to land the takedown.

Danton rushes Bolo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Danton scores with a knee to the head.


It looks like Big Bolo has been cut.

Danton manages to break the clinch.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Tre Danton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Danton. Bolo shrugs it off though.
Danton fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bolo darts in looking for a takedown but Danton gets double underhooks and turns Bolo into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Big Bolo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Danton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Bolo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Danton is fending him off so far but Bolo persists. Nope, Danton circles away and we're back to standing.
Danton throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Danton wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bolo has him pressed against the cage.

Danton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Danton throws a sloppy head kick and Bolo moves out of range easily.

Danton jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Bolo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Danton!

Bolo scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Danton to see if he's OK.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bolo has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Danton throws a head kick that Bolo semi-blocks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Big Bolo will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Bolo is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Danton to keep the fight standing.
Bolo pushes off an throws an elbow but Danton leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Danton is trying to force a seperation but Bolo has the dominant position.
Bolo keeps control of Danton as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Danton is looking to break free of the clinch but Bolo has double underhooks.
Danton misses with a knee strike.
Danton is trying to break the clinch but Bolo has him pressed against the cage.
Danton has had enough of the clinch but Bolo keeps him there for the moment.
Danton wants to break the clinch but can't.

Bolo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Danton's guard.

Bolo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Danton sees it coming and defends easily.

Bolo decides to stand and escape the position.

Danton is trying to break free.
Bolo tries for a takedown but Danton manages to get underhooks.
Danton wants to get back to striking at distance but Bolo won't allow it.

Danton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Danton fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Danton fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bolo bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Bolo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Danton on his heels. He'll look to pass Danton's guard now, I'm sure.

Danton has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bolo off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Danton throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bolo blocks it with crossed arms.

Bolo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Danton walks away with a smile on his face. Bolo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Danton is looking to stand up but Bolo won't let him.
Danton is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Bolo has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Bolo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Danton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Danton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bolo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Danton!

Bolo has isolated one of Danton's arms. Danton looking to fight him off but Bolo twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
