The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbot throws a nice looking combination but Overroids bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Overroids misses with the combination.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Abbot.
Tank Abbot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abbot displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Overroids.
Abbot loads up on a big right hand but Overroids slips the punch.
Nice straight punches there by Abbot. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Abbot.
Abbot changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Overroids tries to avoid it but Abbot manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Overroids to the ground. Overroids escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nice takedown defense from Overroids. No joy for Abbot on that attempt.
Tyson Overroids has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tank Abbot.
Good work by Abbot as he checks the leg kick.
Abbot takes the fight into the clinch.
Overroids is pressed up against the cage. Abbot has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Overroids down to the mat. Overroids avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Abbot moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Abbot closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Overroids drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Abbot gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Abbot is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Overroids pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Overroids is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Abbot is defending well for now.
Abbot breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Overroids misses with a takedown attempt - Abbot sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Overroids fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Abbot is out of range.
Overroids lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Tank Abbot has been cut.

Abbot throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Overroids counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Abbot off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Overroids follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Abbot was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Tyson Overroids!
