Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zachariah Newman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Emelyanenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fedor Emelyanenko has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Zachariah Newman's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Zachariah Newman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Fedor Emelyanenko! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emelyanenko tries to keep at a distance but Newman has taken the fight into the clinch. Newman tries to break free but Emelyanenko pushes him back against the cage. Newman jumps guard and drags Emelyanenko to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Emelyanenko must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Newman throwing short punches from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Newman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Newman is on top in guard.
Newman stands up and waves to Emelyanenko to follow him. Newman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Emelyanenko, pushing him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Newman tries to pull guard but Emelyanenko won't allow it.
Emelyanenko is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Newman jumps guard and drags Emelyanenko to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Newman controlling the position. Emelyanenko is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Newman has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Emelyanenko is looking to defend but Newman has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Emelyanenko! Newman pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Emelyanenko taps out and this one is all over!
