Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Doctor Greenthumb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kota Kamiya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kamiya has chosen Muse - Supremacy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greenthumb is looking to land body kicks.
Kamiya feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Greenthumb is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Kamiya is looking to work some ground and pound but Greenthumb has wrist control.

Greenthumb loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Kamiya scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Greenthumb land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Greenthumb stands and salutes the crowd.
