The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carson shoots in and bounces Junior off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Carson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Junior swivels though and keeps the full guard.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Junior gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Junior apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Whack! Junior lands a heavy head kick that drops Carson. The ref tackles Junior to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Carson was done.

In his post fight interview, Jorge Junior started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
