Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mochi Takeru! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Rutger Snabel! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takeru misses with a right hand and Snabel counters with a stiff right hand. Takeru blocks a jab. Takeru misses with a left hand and Snabel counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Takeru thinking. Snabel ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Takeru swings widly with a right hand
and Snabel connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Takeru dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Snabel ducks under a wild hook from Takeru. Takeru misses with a left hand enabling Snabel to counter with a crisp jab. Snabel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Takeru lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. This has been an exciting period of action! A looping hook to the body misses from Takeru. Snabel does a little dance to reset his feet. Takeru lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Snabel backs up against the cage.
It looks like Rutger Snabel has been cut. Snabel throws a low kick but Takeru avoids it. Takeru takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Snabel scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Snabel is taking a breather. Takeru says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Takeru is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Snabel pulls his head out easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Takeru bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Snabel wants to stand and escape but Takeru is having none of it. Snabel has control of Takeru's left arm, preventing Takeru from doing any damage. Takeru pushing down on Snabel's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Takeru wants to work for an arm triangle but Snabel is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Takeru tries to pass to full mount but Snabel defends it. Takeru prevents Snabel from improving his position. Takeru is looking for a kimura but Snabel is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Takeru to get the leverage. Snabel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Takeru. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takeru looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Snabel moves into full guard.

Mochi Takeru dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rutger Snabel's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A big left from Takeru misses. The fighters circling - Takeru throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Takeru misses with an uppercut
enabling Snabel to counter with a crisp jab. Takeru rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Snabel moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Snabel steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Takeru. Takeru takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Takeru tries to throw a body punch but Snabel avoids it by throwing Takeru back against the cage. Snabel's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Snabel throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Takeru sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Takeru checks a leg kick. Takeru thows a body shot but no joy. Snabel bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Takeru's head backwards. A jab from Snabel finds it's way through Takeru's defenses. Nice defenses there by Snabel. Excellent takedown into side control there by Snabel. The ground and pound from Snabel seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Takeru is trying to get back to half guard. Mochi Takeru overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Takeru is working hard here to advance position. Takeru manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Takeru is looking to improve his position.
Snabel wants to stand but Takeru has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Takeru is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. This has been an exciting period of action! Takeru throws a lazy right hand but Snabel sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Takeru lands a jab to the nose. Mochi Takeru is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Snabel slips a jab from Takeru. Snabel thows a left - swing and a miss! A telegraphed right hand from Takeru misses the target. Snabel has taken the fight to the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Snabel. Snabel digs a right hand into Takeru's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Takeru's gas tank. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Takeru tries to circle away but Snabel has him pinned against the cage. Snabel blocks an uppercut.

Rutger Snabel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Takeru scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Snabel ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. And that's the end of the fight! Rutger Snabel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Snabel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
