Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fergus Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitchell kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Get Up. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Boom gets caught napping as Mitchell dives in and scores a takedown. Boom manages to retain guard.
We've been hearing that Mitchell has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Mitchell slips nicely into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boom on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Mitchell wants to take a breather but Boom is having none of it.
Mitchell stops Boom from getting back to his feet.
Mitchell working over Boom with some ground and pound. Boom looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mitchell scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Boom is rocked!
Mitchell creates some space for himself and unloads with a monster right hand! That one landed with a sickening thud - Boom is out cold and this one is all over! Mitchell climbs onto the cage to celebrate with his corner!! He's shouting something into the camera but he's still got his mouthpiece in so God knows what he's actually saying.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Fergus Mitchell!
Fergus Mitchell took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'I never wanted to be the next Bruce Lee. I just wanted to be the first FERGUS MITCHELL.'.
