Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Venger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gonolev Falten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Venger's entrance music is Live and Let Die. A fine choice. Gonolev Falten will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Venger!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gonolev Falten!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venger lands a big uppercut and Falten crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Falten looks OK. Venger waves Falten back to his feet!
It looks like Gonolev Falten has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Falten shoots in but no luck this time.
Falten tries for a takedown but Venger sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Falten looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Vladimir Venger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gonolev Falten.
Falten changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Venger tries to avoid it but Falten manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Venger to the ground. Venger escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Venger tries to bum rush Falten with a series of wild strikes but Falten uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Venger throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Venger cracks Falten with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Venger has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Falten to stand back up!
Falten is rocked!
Falten fails to land the takedown.
Falten is still on wobbly legs! Can Venger finish him?
Falten fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Venger definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Venger cracks Falten with a left hook right on the temple and Falten goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Venger lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Falten is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vladimir Venger!

Vladimir Venger decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
