Jackson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, What Ive Done. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Jackson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jackson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Calvano.
Calvano keeps the fight on the outside.
Calvano throws an overhand right that lands on Jackson's shoulder, as Jackson tries to avoid the shot.
Jackson listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Jackson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Calvano was well out of range. Poor timing from Jackson.
Jackson connects with a body shot that sends Calvano's belly button to the back.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jackson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Some bone on bone action there as Jackson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Calvano throws out a loose jab but Jackson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Calvano throws a jab when Jackson was well out of range.
Jackson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Calvano manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Jackson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Jackson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jackson just misses with a punch to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Calvano decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Calvano is thwarting Jackson's attempts to control the position.

Calvano is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Calvano working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Calvano throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Jackson wants to improve his position but Calvano is controlling well.
Calvano thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Calvano content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Calvano is nestled in close to Jackson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Calvano takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Jackson has hold of Calvano's hands but Calvano slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jackson is looking to improve his position.
Calvano tries to pass to full mount but Jackson defends it.
Calvano seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Calvano landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Calvano lands strikes from half guard.

Calvano moves nicely into side control.
Jackson is trying to improve his position.
Calvano wants to control but Jackson is keeping him busy.
Calvano looks up at the clock and then as Jackson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Calvano smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Calvano lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Jackson down.

Calvano scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Jackson to see if he's OK.
Check out the look on Calvano's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!


Jackson is rocked!
Jackson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Oh Jackson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Calvano is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Jackson's shoulder. That is not cool.
Calvano in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Jackson looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Calvano turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
