Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ricky Dryupp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Silva!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dryupp but Dryupp pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Dryupp, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Dryupp against the cage but Dryupp circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dryupp misses with a series of wild punches.
Dryupp stuffs the takedown attempt from Silva. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Ricky Dryupp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Silva.
Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dryupp pinned against the cage. Dryupp gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Silva fails to land the takedown.
Silva looks to score with a jab to the body but Dryupp is just out of range.
Dryupp lands with a nice body punch.

Dryupp moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Dryupp stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The fighters circle momentarily. Dryupp darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Silva misses with a wild body shot.
Silva misses with a takedown attempt - Dryupp sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Mike Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dryupp paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Dryupp moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Dryupp slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Dryupp throws a one two combo.
Dryupp sizes up Silva with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Silva doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Silva chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dryupp can pounce on him.
Dryupp is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Dryupp jabs Silva right on the nose. Silva blinks but takes it well.
Silva takes a kick to the side of the head.
Dryupp lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Dryupp.
Dryupp circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Silva drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Dryupp follows Silva to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
