Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Terry Joyce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddy Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Terry Joyce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddy Bravo!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bravo is looking to clinch but Joyce is avoiding it.
Bravo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bravo lands in his opponent's guard.
Joyce will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Bravo trying to control the position from guard on top but Joyce is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bravo stopping the sweep attempt from Joyce.
Bravo trying to control but Joyce is working from the bottom.

Eddy Bravo has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Bravo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Joyce breaks from the clinch.
Joyce throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bravo was covering up waiting for the punch and Joyce finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Joyce knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bravo on the ground.
Bravo seems keen to control Joyce's posture.
Bravo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Joyce can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Joyce has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Bravo manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Bravo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Joyce closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bravo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Joyce smiles and moves away.
Bravo moves in looking to clinch but Joyce pushes him off.
Joyce tries to clinch up but Bravo circles away and keeps his distance.
Bravo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Joyce holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Bravo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Joyce walks away with a smile on his face. Bravo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Joyce will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Joyce dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Joyce fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bravo avoids it really well and circles away.
Joyce shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bravo sprawls well. Bravo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Joyce gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Terry Joyce. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Joyce throws a body kick that misses.
Joyce rushes Bravo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Joyce keeps control of Bravo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Joyce has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bravo uses from the top position.
Bravo is working Joyce over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Bravo stands and throws Joyce's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Joyce is working to avoid the ground and pound but Bravo connects with a decent elbow.
Joyce tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Joyce is breathing heavily.
Bravo working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A lull in the action here as Bravo stalls from top position.

Joyce has a takedown stuffed.
Bravo dives in and grabs Joyce's left leg, looking for a takedown. Joyce pushes down on Bravo's head and hops out.
Terry Joyce is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Joyce.
Joyce tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bravo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bravo decides to stand back up.
Joyce looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bravo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bravo throws a body punch but Joyce moves out of range.
Joyce throws a nice looking combination but Bravo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bravo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Joyce wants to get back to full guard.
Bravo is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Bravo passes to full mount!
Bravo tries to control but Joyce wriggling away.
Bravo is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Joyce to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Joyce shrugs it off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bravo looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Bravo landing strikes from the mount.

Bravo content just to control the position here.
Bravo get's back to his feet.
Joyce tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Joyce tries to land a body kick
and Bravo counters with a takedown into side control.
Bravo throws an elbow but Joyce slips to the side and avoids it well.
Bravo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Joyce keeps working.

Joyce is trying to improve his position.
Bravo has control of an arm but Joyce manages to advance to Bravo's back!

Bravo trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Joyce seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Bravo's chin but Bravo turns very nicely into Joyce's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Bravo.

Eddy Bravo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Bravo has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Joyce defend it? Bravo steps over the head and cranks it - Joyce is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bravo!
