Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dustin Waller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charles Morris!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jonathan Paton and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morris fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Waller sprawls well initially but Morris persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Morris trying to mount his opponent but Waller defends it.
Waller really is a fat lump.
Waller moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Waller is trying to control the position but Morris postures up.
Waller bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Morris's guard.
Waller postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Morris has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Waller has passed into side control.
Waller wants to lay and pray for a moment but Morris keeps working.
You can see the frustration on Morris's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Waller has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Waller closes the distance and clinches up with Morris, looking for a takedown. Waller pushes Morris against the cage but Morris circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Waller throws a series of punches but Morris avoids them all with ease.
Morris swats away the attempt to clinch by Waller.
Morris closes the distance and clinches up with Waller, looking for a takedown. Morris pushes Waller against the cage but Waller circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Waller keeps the fight on the outside.
Morris lands with an uppercut that bounces Waller off the cage and back into range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Waller feints and as Morris raises his hands in defense, Waller changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Morris is trying to control the position but Waller postures up.
Waller is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Waller advances to half guard.
Morris really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Waller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Waller not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Morris is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Waller pulls his head out easily.

Waller is working to tighten his grip on Morris's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Morris has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Waller is really squeezing tight and eventually Morris passes out! Waller breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
