Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chew Bacca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Luc Picard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bacca's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, 3rd world!. The crowd seem to be enjoying Picard's choice of entrance music: The Picard Song. Chew Bacca has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chew Bacca! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jean Luc Picard! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Picard wants to clinch up but Bacca keeps it at a distance. Picard lands with a right hand. Bacca swings away with a body shot that misses
and Picard moves into the clinch. With the fighters up against the cage, Bacca throws an elbow but misses. Bacca wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Picard is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bacca to keep the fight standing. Picard jumps into guard, dragging Bacca to the mat.
Picard working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bacca doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bacca manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bacca is looking to work some ground and pound but Picard has wrist control. Picard avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Bacca lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Picard working for a triangle but Bacca defends it easily.
This has been an exciting period of action! Bacca postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bacca trying to control the position from guard on top but Picard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bacca throwing strikes from guard but Picard blocks nicely. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bacca accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bacca advances position into side control! Picard takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Picard controls the position for a moment. Bacca goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Picard rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bacca's guard! Nice work there by Picard!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Picard is looking to work some ground and pound but Bacca has wrist control. Picard is working Bacca over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Bacca trying to keep a closed guard but Picard is proving a slippery customer.
Picard drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bacca manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Picard has Bacca in his guard. Picard pulls Bacca in close to prevent any damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bacca working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Picard has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bacca can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Bacca in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Picard is pulling down on Bacca's head to control his posture. Picard has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Bacca doesn't defend quickly enough and Picard has managed to lock this one up! Can Bacca escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Picard on a fantastic submission victory.
