Sir comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kickstart kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Pablo Sir is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pablo Sir! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Jones tries for a takedown but Sir circles away easily and Sir counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Sir has a takedown stuffed. Jones forces Sir back against the cage and clinches. Jones decides to pull guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Sir is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sir is one step ahead there. Sir wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position. Jones controlling Sir's posture. Sir postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. That's one minute gone in the round. Sir is working Jones over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Jones keeping full guard, as Sir tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sir postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it. Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jones looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Sir looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Sir has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jones wants to control the pace but Sir is squirming around nicely. Sir tries to get back to half guard but can't.
