Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between January Kwiecinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kim Boshesh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, January Kwiecinski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kim Boshesh! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boshesh looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Kwiecinski working a defensive guard here.
Boshesh won't allow Kwiecinski to get back to his feet. Kwiecinski preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Boshesh works over Kwiecinski with some ground and pound from guard. Kwiecinski controls Boshesh momentarily but Boshesh frees himself. Boshesh scoring with some ground and pound. Kwiecinski is looking to stand up but Boshesh isn't so interested in that idea. Boshesh throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kwiecinski looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Boshesh stops Kwiecinski from standing up. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Boshesh lands a couple of decent looking shots. Kwiecinski working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Boshesh. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Boshesh working his ground and pound in the gym. Kwiecinski will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Boshesh throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kwiecinski works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boshesh makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Boshesh stops Kwiecinski from standing up. Boshesh gets to his feet - Kwiecinski follows without any prompting. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kwiecinski, right into the meat.
Boshesh looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kwiecinski is fending him off so far but Boshesh persists. Nope, Kwiecinski circles away and we're back to standing. Boshesh looks for a takedown but Kwiecinski sprawls well. January Kwiecinski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Boshesh looks for a takedown but Kwiecinski sprawls well. January Kwiecinski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kim Boshesh. Boshesh is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kwiecinski sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Boshesh takes a body punch but keeps moving. Kwiecinski scores with a head kick.
It looks like Kim Boshesh has been cut. We've been told by Kwiecinski's head coaches at Hate Made Me Asylum that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A kick lands to the mid section there for Kwiecinski. Kwiecinski lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Kwiecinski connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boshesh shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kwiecinski sprawls well. Kwiecinski wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Boshesh gets slowly back to his feet. Boshesh looks winded! Boshesh shoots in looking for a takedown. Kwiecinski tries to sprawl out of it but Boshesh keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kwiecinski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kwiecinski bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Boshesh's head. Kwiecinski's jab looks to have found its range, popping Boshesh under the eye. Boshesh dives in for a single leg takedown but Kwiecinski sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Kwiecinski lands a good knee to the midsection. Boshesh won't want to take too many of those. Kwiecinski manages to break the clinch.
Kwiecinski looks to land a combination. Boshesh sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Boshesh is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
