Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Galaxy Nexus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reagen Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Galaxy Nexus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Reagen Penn!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn with a lazy takedown attempt
and Nexus counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Penn fails with the takedown
and Nexus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Penn with a poor takedown
and Nexus counters with a left to the body.
Galaxy Nexus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reagen Penn.
Nexus scores with a body shot.
Nexus lands a nice hook to Penn's body. Penn takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Nexus throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Penn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Penn misses with a takedown
and Nexus counters with a nice body shot.
Penn looks winded!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nexus is looking to land body kicks.
Nexus lands a body shot.
Nexus is looking to wear down Penn with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Nexus works Penn's body with a nice hook.
A lazy left from Nexus finds it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Penn on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Nexus shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Nexus was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We've been hearing that Nexus has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Nexus in side control lands a decent elbow.
Nexus staying calm.
Nexus looks up at the clock and then as Penn takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Nexus smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nexus's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Nexus working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Nexus controls the position.

Nexus lands an elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Galaxy Nexus has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Penn tries for a takedown but Nexus circles away easily
and Nexus counters with a thumping low kick.
Penn takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Penn closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Penn dives in and scores a takedown into Nexus's guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nexus looking for a sweep. Not yet Nexus, not yet.
Nexus is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Penn defends well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Galaxy Nexus dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Penn has his takedown stuffed
and Nexus counters with a nice uppercut.
Nexus connects with a leg kick. Penn looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Penn drives through with a takedown into Nexus's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nexus is on top in guard.
Penn can't keep his opponent in guard - Nexus advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Nexus is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Galaxy Nexus overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Well, if Nexus is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Nexus seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Penn for as long as he can get away with.

Nexus controlling the action here.
Nexus tries to pass to full mount but Penn defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nexus looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Penn with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Nexus working over Penn with some ground and pound. Penn looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Nexus content to control rather than advance.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Galaxy Nexus just wasn't active enough.
Penn gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Nexus moves into the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Nexus has clasped his hands together around Penn's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Penn tries to improve position but can't.
Nexus in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Nexus is chipping away with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Penn tries to bench press Nexus off him but Nexus keeps the position.
Nexus is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Penn's shoulder. That is not cool.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nexus has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Galaxy Nexus dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!
Penn with a poor takedown
and Nexus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nexus lands a right hook to the body.
Nexus connects with a jab.
Nexus jabs Penn right on the nose. Penn blinks but takes it well.
Penn is rocked!
Nexus drops Penn with a straight right hand, right on the button! Nexus follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Galaxy Nexus!
Galaxy Nexus decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
