The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Mengel misses its intended target.
Mengel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Barnett decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Barnett looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Barnett maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Mengel could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Barnett has cracked it and Mengel is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Barnett!
