Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Clooten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denis Stojnic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Denis Stojnic will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Clooten!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Denis Stojnic!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clooten shoots in for a takedown but Stojnic shows good takedown defense.
Stojnic closes the distance and clinches.
Stojnic breaks the clinch.
Stojnic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stojnic lands a high kick to the side of Clooten's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Stojnic dives into guard, looking to finish.
Clooten is rocked!
It looks like Matt Clooten has been cut.
Clooten is trying to keep Stojnic in close.
Oh Clooten is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Clooten is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Stojnic is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Clooten wants to get back to his feet but Stojnic is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Stojnic makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Stojnic stopping the sweep attempt from Clooten.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stojnic stands and steps away. Clooten gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Stojnic throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Clooten crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Denis Stojnic!
