Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Lotus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhao Zhuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lotus might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eye of the tiger. Zhuo has chosen Kung Fu You as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

21 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Zhao Zhuo!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, William Gold and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lotus misses with an uppercut.
Zhao Zhuo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lotus takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Zhuo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lotus.
Zhuo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lotus sprawls well initially but Zhuo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Zhuo lands strikes from half guard.
Lotus is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Zhuo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Zhuo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lotus sees it coming and defends easily.
Lotus is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Rift Fighting Academy that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Zhuo is looking for a sweep. Lotus is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Zhuo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lotus is working away from the top position though.
Zhuo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lotus's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lotus's back!

Zhuo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Zhuo connects with a nice short shot to Lotus's temple.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lotus goes for a double leg but Zhuo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Zhuo continues to drive forward.

Zhuo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Zhuo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Zhuo wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Lotus. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lotus thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
You can see the frustration on Zhuo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Zhuo stuffs the takedown attempt from Lotus. Lotus gets slowly back to his feet.

Zhuo shoots in looking for a takedown but Lotus manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Zhuo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Zhuo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lotus tries to avoid it but Zhuo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lotus to the ground. Lotus escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Zhuo will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Lotus up against the cage.

Zhuo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lotus doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lotus manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Zhao Zhuo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Zhuo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
