Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josh Posey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Karsk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karsk wants to clinch up but Posey keeps it at a distance.
A jab from Posey finds it's way through Karsk's defenses.
Posey looks to land a combination but Karsk avoids it well.

Posey fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Karsk sprawls well initially but Posey persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Karsk has hold of Posey's hands but Posey slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Karsk makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Karsk.
Karsk wants to sweep here but Posey controlling him for the moment.

Karsk has his foot on Posey's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Posey works his way back into a safe position though.

Posey uses his free foot to push down on Karsk's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Karsk.

Posey goes for an armbar but Karsk turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Karsk.
Karsk postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Posey lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Karsk has closed the distance and engaged Posey in a clinch.
Posey is pressed up against the cage. Karsk has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Posey down to the mat. Posey avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Karsk tries to buck Posey off but Posey is having none of it.

Karsk is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Posey off and has taken his back!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Posey manages to reverse the position and now he's in Karsk's guard. Nice work there by Posey.
Karsk wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Posey scores with a jab.
Horrible takedown by Karsk or perhaps it was just good defense by Posey which made him look bad.
Karsk uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Posey.
Posey gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Karsk counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Posey's guard now.

That was a close round but I would say that Josh Posey will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Posey throws out a loose jab but Karsk uses good head movement to avoid it.

Posey closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Karsk to the mat! Karsk manages to get full guard.

Karsk rolls with it to try and escape but Posey cranks on the arm and Karsk is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
