The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braga avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Buckley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Braga looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Buckley is fending him off so far but Braga persists. Nope, Buckley circles away and we're back to standing.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Buckley seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Braga for as long as he can get away with.

Braga throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Buckley shoots in for a double leg but Braga sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Braga drops down looking for an ankle pick but Buckley pulls his leg out and moves away.
Horrible takedown by Braga or perhaps it was just good defense by Buckley which made him look bad.

The fighters are battling for position here. Braga manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Buckley is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Buckley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Braga's guard.

Braga wants to sweep here but Buckley controlling him for the moment.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Buckley, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
