Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Orbiso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamil Pieda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kurt Orbiso! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kamil Pieda! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orbiso displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pieda. Orbiso lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Orbiso fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pieda throws a jab but it's blocked by Orbiso. Pieda fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Pieda shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Orbiso napping and manages to drive through into side control! Pieda controls the position from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Orbiso struggling a bit here. Orbiso prevents Pieda from improving position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pieda lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Pieda stands up and we're back to a striking position. Pieda changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Orbiso looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Orbiso is trying to escape the position but Pieda is controlling the position. Orbiso gets back to half guard. Pieda is trying to control the action in half guard but Orbiso is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Orbiso trying to control here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pieda passes to side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Pieda is looking to take a break and control but Orbiso is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Pieda tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Pieda passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Orbiso! Pieda trying to control but Orbiso is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Orbiso gets back to half guard. Pieda seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Orbiso does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Orbiso trying to control from the bottom.
Orbiso works his way to full guard. Good work. Orbiso tries to land a sweep but no joy. Pieda trying to control the position from guard on top but Orbiso is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Orbiso wants to get back to his feet but Pieda is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Pieda throwing strikes but missing. Orbiso uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Orbiso scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Orbiso tries to score with some ground and pound. Pieda controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Orbiso wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pieda keeps working. Orbiso working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pieda tries to bench press Orbiso off him but Orbiso keeps the position. Pieda takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kurt Orbiso will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Pieda tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Orbiso manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kurt Orbiso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jab by Orbiso. Orbiso defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pieda. Orbiso circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pieda shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Orbiso pinned against the cage. Orbiso gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kurt Orbiso is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sloppy strikes from Orbiso. Those never looked like landing. Orbiso drops Pieda with a nice combination! Orbiso dives into Pieda's guard, looking to finish!
Pieda is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Orbiso throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pieda works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Pieda is still in real trouble! Can Orbiso finish him? Kamil Pieda has got the better of the ground game so far. Pieda keeping moving, preventing Orbiso from controlling successfully. Pieda wants to sweep but no luck. Pieda seems to have recovered his senses. Orbiso trying to control but Pieda is working from the bottom. Orbiso postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Orbiso in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Orbiso trying to control the position from guard on top but Pieda is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Orbiso throws a big elbow that misses. Pieda trying to control the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Pieda shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Orbiso as he avoids it easily. Kurt Orbiso has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kamil Pieda. Pieda is breathing heavily. Orbiso throws a left and a right that both miss
and Pieda counters with a stiff right hand. Pieda fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Pieda tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Orbiso is able to avoid easily. Orbiso drops Pieda with a right and a left! Orbiso comes rushing in but Pieda regains his composure and manages to keep Orbiso in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Orbiso preventing the sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Orbiso with a flurry of punches that miss. Orbiso stops Pieda from standing up. Orbiso with a flurry of punches that miss. Orbiso postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Pieda preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Orbiso missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Orbiso trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Orbiso advances to half guard. Orbiso is working for a submission of some sort.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Orbiso seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pieda does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Orbiso misses with a head shot. Orbiso misses with a head shot. Orbiso punching from mount but Pieda doing a good job of avoiding damage. Pieda really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Orbiso has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Orbiso punching from mount but Pieda doing a good job of avoiding damage. Orbiso thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Orbiso can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pieda is looking to escape. Orbiso throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Pieda because Orbiso loaded up on that one. Pieda tries to reverse the position but Orbiso maintains control. Pieda wants to hold on but Orbiso pushes him away. Pieda is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Orbiso throws some wild stikes that Pieda manages to avoid easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Orbiso throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Orbiso looking to finish with strikes here!
BOOM! Orbiso connects with a massive shot to the dome!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kurt Orbiso dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Orbiso lands a jab to Pieda's midsection. Pieda moves forwards but Orbiso connects with a nice, crisp jab. Orbiso gets in close and tags Pieda with a short punch that almost sends Pieda to the mat! Oh Pieda is in big trouble! He turns his back on Orbiso, trying to create some distance but Orbiso rushes him, striking wildly and Pieda goes down! The referee tackles Orbiso into the cage to end the fight! Orbiso is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kurt Orbiso! Kurt Orbiso decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
