Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between That Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Knott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Walk by Pantera. That Guy has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, That Guy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jake Knott! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knott fails to land with a series of punches.
Guy scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Knott with a hook. Guy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Knott manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Knott dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Guy. That did some damage! Guy darts in trying to clinch and Knott counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Guy wants to get back to full guard. Guy gets full guard. Knott stands up from guard. Let's bang! Knott throws a sloppy head kick and Guy counters with a single leg into guard. Knott didn't expect that. Guy postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Guy postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Knott is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Guy, into his guard. Guy controls Knott momentarily but Knott frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guy wants to sweep but no luck. Guy looking to control but Knott passes into half guard.
It looks like Knott is going to stand back up.
Guy wants to get back to full guard. Guy is not content to let Knott control the position. Knott prevents Guy from improving his position. Guy looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guy is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Knott's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Knott's back! Guy looking for the choke but no joy. Guy looking for the RNC. Knott looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Knott is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Knott grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knott can't escape the position.
Guy doesn't have the hooks in and Knott manages to turn into his guard.
Knott wants to get up but he can't break Guy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Knott avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Guy has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Knott has passed into side control.
Guy tries to get back to half guard but can't. Knott wants to control but Guy is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knott working away. Guy is looking to regain half guard here but Knott keeps moving and retains side control. Knott wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Guy, who protects the arm well. Knott just content to control the position. Guy wants to control but Knott postures up. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Guy is trying to improve his position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Knott stands up and beckons Guy to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that That Guy will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Guy misses with a takedown attempt so Knott counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Knott stops Guy from standing up. Guy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Knott has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Guy to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Knott is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Guy pulls down on the head and he's put Knott to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). That Guy! That Guy decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
