Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Wajmir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jackson Hawk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Wajmir! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wajmir shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hawk as he jumps to the side. Horrible takedown by Wajmir or perhaps it was just good defense by Hawk which made him look bad. Hawk gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wajmir counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hawk! Wajmir with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Hawk is trying to escape the mount.
Wajmir wants to take Hawk's back here but Hawk is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Wajmir looking to ground and pound but Hawk is blocking nicely. Wajmir wants to control the pace but Hawk is squirming around nicely. Hawk tries to lock up and control but Wajmir gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawk is squirming around, avoiding Wajmir's attempts to control the action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hawk slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Wajmir seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Hawk tries to kick Wajmir off but Wajmir keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Hawk blocking the ground and pound attempt from Wajmir. Hawk tries to get to full guard but Wajmir has control of the leg. Wajmir works his way into full mount! Wajmir working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Wajmir looks gassed! Wajmir looking to secure an arm triangle but Hawk defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hawk manages to regain half guard. Good work. Hawk trying to control but Wajmir postures up.
Wajmir is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hawk defends it well. Hawk gets back to full guard.
Wajmir stands up from Hawk's guard - Wajmir perhaps looking for a knockout. Hawk shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Wajmir counters with a shoot takedown. Hawk fights it but they end up in guard. Wajmir showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hawk utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Wajmir scoring with punches to the head and body. Wajmir controlling from the top position. Wajmir looking to pass the guard. Hawk has his hands on Wajmir's head, controlling the position. Wajmir stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hawk swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hawk looking for a sweep. Not yet Hawk, not yet. Wajmir controls from within his opponent's guard. Wajmir trying to control the position from guard on top but Hawk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wajmir accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hawk being controlled here, momentarily. Wajmir wants to control from the top but Hawk keeps moving. Wajmir stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hawk swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hawk tries to score with a low kick but Wajmir moves his leg out of the way. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ivan Wajmir dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Hawk closes the distance looking to clinch and Wajmir counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Wajmir trying to mount his opponent but Hawk defends it. Hawk actively working from the bottom here. Hawk is looking to improve his position.
Wajmir wants to free his trapped foot but Hawk is holding on for dear life with his legs. Wajmir thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Hawk is staying active underneath Wajmir, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Wajmir is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wajmir seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hawk does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hawk tries to clinch and Wajmir decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hawk's guard. Hawk punching from the bottom - just letting Wajmir know he's still in a fight. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hawk is on top in guard.
Hawk is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hawk postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Hawk stands and throws Wajmir's legs to the side, diving into side control. Wajmir is looking to regain half guard here but Hawk keeps moving and retains side control. Hawk working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Wajmir is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Wajmir manages to work his way to half guard, despite Hawk's best efforts.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hawk wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wajmir keeps working. Hawk is working for a kimura but Wajmir is defending it quite comfortably.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wajmir can do anything to dispel that myth. Hawk prevents Wajmir from improving his position. Wajmir makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Wajmir. Wajmir has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hawk can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Wajmir looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Wajmir throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Wajmir is trying to control the position but Hawk postures up. Hawk trying to control but Wajmir is working from the bottom. Hawk is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hawk is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Wajmir doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hawk throws a combination. Wajmir tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Hawk tries for a takedown but Wajmir circles away easily and Wajmir counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Wajmir pulls Hawk into guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wajmir bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hawk's guard. Wajmir controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Wajmir won't allow Hawk to sweep him here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ivan Wajmir showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Hawk's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
An inside leg kick lands from Hawk. A thudding body kick lands there by Hawk!
Wajmir takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. The fighters circle momentarily. Hawk darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Wajmir is rocked!
It looks like Ivan Wajmir has been cut. Hawk misses with a few strikes there.
Wajmir is still on wobbly legs! Can Hawk finish him? Wajmir blocks a head kick by Hawk.
Wajmir seems to have recovered his senses. Wajmir gets the takedown into side control. Hawk is trying to control Wajmir's posture but Wajmir avoids it. Hawk is trying to get back to half guard. Hawk stops Wajmir from passing to mount. Wajmir working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Hawk can't do much from the bottom here. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wajmir is looking to take a break and control but Hawk is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hawk struggling a bit here.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Hawk with a poor takedown and Wajmir counters by clinching up. Hawk is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wajmir pulls him back up using the underhooks. Wajmir manages to break the clinch.
Wajmir shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wajmir showed some decent athleticism there. Hawk wants to get back to full guard but Wajmir has passed into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wajmir with a couple of short strikes. Hawk is in all sorts of trouble here.
Hawk tries to lock up and control but Wajmir gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Hawk is trying desperately to improve position. Hawk bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Wajmir wants to sweep but no luck. Wajmir keeping moving, preventing Hawk from controlling successfully. Hawk wants to pass the guard but Wajmir is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hawk trying to control the position from guard on top but Wajmir is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hawk looking to pass the guard. Wajmir is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Wajmir working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hawk.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Wajmir scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Wajmir controlling the action here. Wajmir is trying to control the action in half guard but Hawk is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Wajmir controlling the action here. Wajmir is stalling here. Hawk is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Wajmir seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Hawk has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wajmir manages to get back to half guard. Wajmir keeping hold of Hawk's head, controlling as best he can. Wajmir is trying to maintain the position but Hawk is very close to passing his half guard. Wajmir might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hawk kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Despite being in the dominant position, Ivan Wajmir just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wajmir gets the takedown into side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hawk struggling a bit here. Jackson Hawk has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wajmir thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
And that's the end of the fight! Ivan Wajmir comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Wajmir winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
