Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Schellmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nip A Tuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nip A Tuck!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schellmann looks for a takedown but Tuck sprawls well.

Schellmann tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tuck just stands there and leans against the cage.
Tuck gets underhooks to prevent Schellmann's takedown attempt.
Schellmann jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tuck walks away with a smile on his face. Schellmann gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Schellmann drops down looking for an ankle pick but Tuck pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nip A Tuck is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Stefan Schellmann's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Tuck looks to score with a jab to the body but Schellmann is just out of range.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Tuck. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Tuck leaves Schellmann with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Schellmann shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tuck as he avoids it easily.
Schellmann stalks Tuck and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Tuck's face. Tuck staggers backwards, shaken.

Schellmann wants the takedown. Tuck is fighting it off but Schellmann persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Tuck's guard against the cage.
Tuck is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Tuck really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Schellmann. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Schellmann wants to control from the top but Tuck keeps moving.

Tuck is trying to control the position but Schellmann postures up.
Schellmann passes Tuck's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Schellmann is looking for a kimura but Tuck is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Schellmann to get the leverage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tuck can do anything to dispel that myth.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Schellmann goes for a double leg but Tuck avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tuck continues to drive forward.

Schellmann goes for a takedown attempt but Tuck pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Schellmann.

And that's the end of the fight!
Nip A Tuck comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Tuck has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
