The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos staying out of range there.
Bawsoot throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Santos doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Bawsoot counters with a nice double leg into side control. Santos won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bawsoot happy to just control the position for now.
Bawsoot scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Santos to see if he's OK.
Santos is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
A lull in the action here.

Santos wants to control but Bawsoot postures up.
Bawsoot slows the pace down.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jimmy Bawsoot hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Santos tries for a takedown but Bawsoot circles away easily

and Bawsoot counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Bawsoot cracks Santos with a nice body shot.

Bawsoot has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Santos clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
