Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcd Nightmare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malcolm MacDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcd Nightmare! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Malcolm MacDonald! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nightmare tries to clinch but MacDonald is having none of it. MacDonald thows a body shot but no joy. Nightmare tries to close the distance and clinch up but MacDonald swats him away and circles back towards the center. MacDonald gets a clinch. MacDonald gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Nightmare.
Nightmare wants a takedown but no success here.
MacDonald misses with a knee to the head. Nightmare tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. MacDonald just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcd Nightmare. That's going to take a lot out of him. MacDonald has had enough of the clinch but Nightmare keeps him there for the moment. MacDonald leaning his opponent against the cage. MacDonald is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nightmare drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
MacDonald tightens his grip and picks Nightmare up, before dumping him to the ground. Nightmare manages to land in guard. Nightmare is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. MacDonald must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. MacDonald postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Nightmare is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of MacDonald, into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. MacDonald is pulling down on Nightmare's head. It's preventing any offense from Nightmare, at least for the moment. MacDonald wants to sweep but no luck. MacDonald is trying to keep Nightmare in close.
Nightmare will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Nightmare avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Nightmare wants to control from the top but MacDonald keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Nightmare decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on MacDonald, up you get! A good leg kick by Nightmare. Nightmare shoots in but no luck this time. MacDonald fails to land the takedown. Nightmare has his takedown stuffed and MacDonald counters with a solid body kick. Nightmare is breathing heavily. MacDonald throws a head kick that misses. Nightmare forces MacDonald back against the cage and clinches. MacDonald tries to pull guard but Nightmare holds him up against the cage and eventually MacDonald drops back down to his feet.
MacDonald escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Nightmare has a takedown stuffed. MacDonald gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. MacDonald breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Excellent takedown into side control there by MacDonald. MacDonald staying calm. MacDonald's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's four minutes gone in the round. I looks like MacDonald might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. MacDonald stands up. MacDonald scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with MacDonald in particular looking to stall. MacDonald tries to stand but his arm is trapped. MacDonald lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Malcolm MacDonald dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
MacDonald wants to clinch. MacDonald has Nightmare up against the cage in a clinch.

MacDonald works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. MacDonald looking to pass the guard. MacDonald sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nightmare's guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. MacDonald is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nightmare is controlling MacDonald's position as best he can from this difficult position. MacDonald is stalling here. Nightmare is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! MacDonald seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Nightmare has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Nightmare wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by MacDonald, who protects the arm well. MacDonald tries to improve position but can't. Nightmare landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. MacDonald tries to get back to half guard but can't. MacDonald is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Nightmare asserts his dominance and retains side control. MacDonald is looking to regain half guard here but Nightmare keeps moving and retains side control. MacDonald is trying to control Nightmare's posture but Nightmare avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. MacDonald trying his best to control but Nightmare has mounted him. Nightmare really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. MacDonald tries to hold on but Nightmare postures up. Nightmare working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. MacDonald keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
MacDonald wants to control but Nightmare is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. MacDonald is trying desperately to improve position. MacDonald tries to control Nightmare's body but Nightmare pushes him off. MacDonald squirms to his side and now Nightmare has his back! MacDonald trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Despite being in the dominant position, Malcolm MacDonald just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nightmare is on the wrong end of a nice combination from MacDonald. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nightmare has his takedown stuffed and MacDonald counters with a nice double leg into side control. Nightmare won't be happy with that. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcd Nightmare. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nightmare can't do much from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Malcolm MacDonald showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Horrible takedown by Nightmare or perhaps it was just good defense by MacDonald which made him look bad. MacDonald darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. MacDonald content to control rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nightmare tries to roll over but MacDonald keeps him under control. MacDonald stands up from half guard. Nightmare tries to keep at a distance but MacDonald has taken the fight into the clinch. Nightmare working aggressively here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nightmare wants to control from the top but MacDonald keeps moving. Nightmare advances position into side control! MacDonald is trying to get back to half guard. Malcolm MacDonald has got the better of the ground game so far. Nightmare scores with punches from side control. MacDonald explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Nightmare misses with a takedown and MacDonald counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by MacDonald.

A nice right hand lands inside from Nightmare. MacDonald is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. MacDonald goes for a takedown in the clinch but Nightmare prevents it.
MacDonald has hold of one of Nightmare's legs. Nightmare is fighting the takedown attempt but MacDonald gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. MacDonald gets to his feet. Nightmare looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Horrible takedown by Nightmare or perhaps it was just good defense by MacDonald which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcd Nightmare. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nightmare gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Marcd Nightmare has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! MacDonald is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
And that's the end of the fight! Malcolm MacDonald comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well MacDonald has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
