Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alvin Aguilar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shotgun Trua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aguilar comes into the arena with Drector's Cut by Kamikazee blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alvin Aguilar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shotgun Trua! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The crowd cheers as Trua lands an impressive looking overhand right. Aguilar doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Alvin Aguilar has been cut. Trua throws a low kick but Aguilar moves out of range easily. Trua swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Trua tries a low kick but Aguilar avoids it. Trua pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Trua looks to land a body kick but Aguilar moved away. Trua throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Aguilar uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Trua. Aguilar with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Trua to score with a decent uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trua looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Trua lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Aguilar circles away quickly and effectively. Trua throws a head kick that misses. Trua looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Trua connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Aguilar momentarily.
Trua paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Trua throws a wild body kick that Aguilar sees coming a mile off. Shotgun Trua is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trua misses the shot to the body. A head kick misses from Trua. Trua throws a body kick that misses. Shotgun Trua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Trua lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Aguilar moves out of range as Trua throws a body kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Trua misses with a low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trua lands a jab. Trua connects with a body shot. A punch combination from Trua misses. Trua throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Aguilar blocks a leg kick. Aguilar avoids the head kick by Trua.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trua walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Aguilar checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Trua fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Trua throws out a loose jab but Aguilar uses good head movement to avoid it. Aguilar moves out of range of the body kick. Trua loads up on a big right hand but Aguilar slips the punch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Aguilar is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Trua swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Shotgun Trua dominated that round. The cut man is working on Alvin Aguilar's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Trua throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Aguilar displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Trua throws out the jab. Nice defenses there by Aguilar. Aguilar seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Trua has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Trua looks to land a combination but Aguilar avoids it well. Trua throws a leg kick so Aguilar counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Aguilar throws a big right hand that misses. Trua looking to hit a scissor sweep but Aguilar is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aguilar advances to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trua wants to improve his position but Aguilar is controlling well.
Aguilar looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Aguilar sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Trua defending well though. Trua blocking the ground and pound attempt from Aguilar. Aguilar throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Trua can do anything to dispel that myth. Aguilar seems to be working for a kimura but Trua defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trua tries to roll over but Aguilar keeps him under control. Trua is not content to let Aguilar control the position. Aguilar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Aguilar works his foot free and advances to mount. Aguilar wants to control the pace but Trua is squirming around nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aguilar throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Trua is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Aguilar throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Aguilar throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Trua tries to hold on but Aguilar postures up. Trua really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aguilar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Aguilar lands a big shot there that rocks Trua but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aguilar thowing shots but they're missing. Aguilar postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Trua in real trouble here! The ref calls for Trua to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alvin Aguilar! A relieved looking Alvin Aguilar thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
