Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tad Chaney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Colt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tad Chaney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Colt! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colt's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Colt duly obliges.
It looks like Tad Chaney has been cut. Chaney tries a head kick but it misses.
Colt misses with the combination.
Colt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Chaney scores with a body shot.
Colt shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Chaney is trying to defend but Colt finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Chaney keeping hold of Colt's head, controlling as best he can. Colt thows a huge punch but Chaney dodges it nicely.
Chaney keeps control of the position for the meantime. Colt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chaney. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Chaney makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Colt blocks a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chaney slips a jab and a cross from Colt.
Chaney dives in for a single leg takedown but Colt sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Colt wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Colt tries for a takedown but Chaney manages to get underhooks.
Chaney wants to break the clinch but can't.
Chaney is looking to take this one to the mat. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Colt obliges. Chaney jumps into guard, dragging Colt to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Colt makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Chaney trying to keep a closed guard but Colt is proving a slippery customer.
Chaney pushes Colt off and scrambles back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Colt.
Chaney shoots in looking for a takedown. Colt tries to sprawl out of it but Chaney keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Colt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tad Chaney. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chaney slips a jab and a cross from Colt.
Colt swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Colt shoots in but Chaney avoids the takedown attempt easily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chaney gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chaney is on top in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Colt wants to stand up but Chaney is controlling him. Chaney stands up and waves to Colt to follow him. Chaney misses with a body kick. Colt misses the shot to the body. Colt clinches with his opponent.
Chaney wants to take the fight to the mat but Colt manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Colt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chaney darts in and clinches Colt up against the cage. Chaney has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Colt avoids the elbow strike from Chaney, against the cage.
Colt is trying to force a seperation but Chaney has the dominant position. Colt breaks from the clinch.
Colt fails with an attempt to clinch.
Chaney has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Chaney throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Colt stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Chaney blocks a head kick by Colt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Chaney shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Colt but Colt pushes him off and we're back to square one. Chaney throws a low kick but it's checked well by Colt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Chris Colt will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Tad Chaney's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Chaney keeps the fight on the outside. Colt misses with a few strikes there.
Chaney uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Colt. Colt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chaney tries to avoid it but Colt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chaney to the ground. Chaney escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Chaney fails in his attempt to clinch. Colt misses with a body shot.
Chris Colt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chaney is looking to land body kicks. Colt dives in for a single leg takedown but Chaney sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Chaney is looking to break free of the clinch but Colt has double underhooks. Colt is breathing heavily. Chaney is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Colt gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Colt is trying to break free.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chaney manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Colt must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Chaney is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Chaney is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Colt pushes Chaney off looking to stand but Chaney dives back in and keeps control.
Chaney decides to return to a standing position. Colt dodges the punch combination from Chaney.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Colt. Those never looked like landing. Colt tries to clinch up but Chaney circles away and keeps his distance. Colt manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Chaney on his heels. He'll look to pass Chaney's guard now, I'm sure. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chaney bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Colt's guard. Colt wants to stand but Chaney is controlling the position. Chaney sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Colt's guard. Colt keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Chaney not doing much here.
Tad Chaney overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Colt has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chaney is working away from the top position though. Chaney content to control rather than advance. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
We're going to have a standup here because Tad Chaney wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Colt stuffs the takedown attempt from Chaney. Chaney gets slowly back to his feet. Colt has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chaney jumps guard but Colt stands there with Chaney around his waist. Chaney gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tad Chaney will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Tad Chaney's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Chaney escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Colt gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Colt connects with a couple of short punches. Chaney has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Colt is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Chaney leaning against his opponent.
Colt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Colt slaps away a takedown attempt from Chaney, before circling back to the center of the mat. Tad Chaney is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Colt lands with a slapping head kick. Colt ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Chaney closes the distance and lands a one-two. Colt moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Colt shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Chaney is trying to defend but Colt finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Colt wants to pass the guard but Chaney is defending well. Colt not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chaney desperately trying to maintain half guard. Colt tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Chaney. Chaney trying to control but Colt postures up.
Colt looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Chaney moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Chaney manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Colt tries to buck Chaney off but Chaney takes his back! Colt trying to get back to his feet but Chaney is in full control for now. Chaney controlling from the back. Chaney is looking for the choke from the back position but Colt is controlling his hands well. Chaney throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Colt wants to get back to his feet. Chaney misses with an elbow to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Colt is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Chaney gets his way!
Colt is trying to stand back up. A bit of a pause in the action here. Chaney controlling the positon. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Colt holding both Chaney 's hands and preventing any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Chris Colt. I think Colt has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
