The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polinsky changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. King tries to avoid it but Polinsky manages to keep hold of a leg and drag King to the ground. King escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
King throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Polinsky.
Polinsky wants to clinch.
Polinsky looks for a takedown but King sprawls well.
Kai Polinsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Polinsky shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has King pinned against the cage. King gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kai Polinsky. That's going to take a lot out of him.

King lands a hook that stumbles Polinsky back into the cage. King follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Polinsky to the canvas! King pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Polinsky has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
