The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owen looks to clinch
and Longmire counters with a nice double leg into side control. Owen won't be happy with that.
Longmire in side control, throwing shots but Owen defends.
Owen tries to escape but Longmire is in control.
Owen is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Longmire is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Longmire lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Owen takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Longmire quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Longmire but it's paid off an Owen is forced to tap! Nice work by Longmire.
