Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shane MacLain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rickson Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think MacLain might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Drowning Pool - Bodies (Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. Bravo has chosen SEVEN NATION ARMY (REMIX) by Glitch Mob as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rickson Bravo!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacLain takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Bravo misses with a straight right.
MacLain looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
MacLain tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
MacLain shoots in but Bravo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bravo throws a series of punches but MacLain moves out of range.
Bravo takes a swing at MacLain's ribcage but misses.
Bravo misses with a low kick as MacLain jumps back.
Bravo throws a hook to the side of MacLain's head but MacLain sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
MacLain on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Bravo throws a leg kick

and MacLain counters by clinching up.
MacLain tries to throw a body punch but Bravo avoids it by throwing MacLain back against the cage.

MacLain breaks the clinch.
Bravo moves forwards but MacLain connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Bravo throws out a leg kick but MacLain moves out of range and Bravo only half commits.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bravo, as that shot connected.
MacLain shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bravo defends it nicely.
MacLain pulls out of a head kick attempt.

MacLain moves into the clinch.
Bravo tries for a takedown but MacLain manages to get underhooks.
Bravo is looking to break free of the clinch but MacLain has double underhooks.

Bravo has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but MacLain regains guard immediately.
Bravo slips nicely into half guard.
MacLain wants to sweep but Bravo has passed to side control!
Bravo trying to control the position but MacLain is working away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Bravo is trying to get an arm triangle but MacLain is defending well.
MacLain knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bravo on the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
MacLain gets back to half guard.
Bravo is keen to just control but MacLain is a slippery customer.
MacLain is trying to stand.
Bravo perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
It looks like Bravo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Bravo moves into full mount! MacLain won't be happy about that!
Bravo takes MacLain's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, MacLain is in trouble.
Can MacLain hold on?! Bravo is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Our spies down at at HILITE Fighting Club inform us that Bravo has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Bravo's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Bravo is trying to stick to MacLain's back but MacLain is turning into Bravo. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Bravo's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by MacLain.
MacLain wants to control from the top but Bravo keeps moving.

MacLain has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Bravo to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! MacLain is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Bravo pulls down on the head and he's put MacLain to sleep! This one is all over!
