Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edwin Langley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddy Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edwin Langley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddy Bravo! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bravo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Langley quickly recovers to half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Langley is controlling Bravo's trapped leg to prevent Bravo from advancing to side control. Bravo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Langley with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Langley tries to get to full guard but Bravo has control of the leg. Langley is working hard here to advance position. Langley blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bravo. Langley wants to control but Bravo is keeping busy.
Bravo throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Langley manages to get to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Langley is looking to sweep but instead, Bravo has passed into half guard.
Bravo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Langley is just riding it out for now. Bravo eventually gives up the hold. Bravo works his way into full mount! Bravo trying to control but Langley is having none of it. Langley could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Langley tries to hold on but Bravo postures up. Bravo sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Langley tries to improve his position but instead Bravo has taken his back! Langley defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Bravo's arms. Bravo keeps control of the position as Langley tries to break free.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Langley rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Bravo trying to control the action but Langley is working from the bottom. The fighters are battling for position here. Langley manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Langley tries to land a sweep but no joy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Langley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bravo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bravo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bravo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Langley manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bravo has Langley in his guard. Bravo looks winded!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bravo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Langley slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bravo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Langley works some decent striking defense from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Eddy Bravo will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Langley throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bravo was covering up waiting for the punch and Langley finishes the takedown easily into guard. Langley wants to pass the guard but Bravo is keeping the position. Bravo looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Langley is looking to work some ground and pound but Bravo has wrist control. Bravo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bravo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Langley is aware though and is defending well. Langley throwing strikes but missing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Langley trying to control but Bravo is working from the bottom. Bravo is breathing heavily. Langley would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Bravo wants to sweep but no luck. Edwin Langley overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Langley looking to sit in guard and control but Bravo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Langley throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Langley wants to stand but Bravo is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Langley trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Bravo preventing the sweep. Langley has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bravo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Langley. Bravo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Langley keeps working. Bravo controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bravo scores with a couple of short elbows. Bravo working away. Langley is looking to regain half guard here but Bravo keeps moving and retains side control. Bravo in side control, just content to control the action for now. Bravo lands a decent elbow from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Langley can't do much from the bottom here. Bravo wants to control but Langley is keeping him busy. Langley keeping his opponent close. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bravo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Langley keeps working. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Edwin Langley will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Langley gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Langley wants to take the fight to the mat but Bravo manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Langley content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Bravo gets control of Langley's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bravo will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Langley slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Langley wants to stand but Bravo is controlling his posture from full guard. Bravo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bravo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Langley is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Edwin Langley wasn't doing enough on the ground. Langley shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bravo as he avoids it easily. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Langley. Bravo just misses with a punch to the body.
Langley bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Langley working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Langley throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Bravo works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Bravo throws a strike from the bottom but Langley passes into side control!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Bravo is looking for a sweep. Langley controls the position. Bravo tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bravo wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land. Bravo tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Langley presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Langley content just to control the position here. Bravo has given up his back here.
Langley slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bravo is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Langley off. It looks like it's working - Langley slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Bravo displaying calm under pressure there. Langley throws a right and a left that both miss. Langley forces Bravo back against the cage and clinches. Langley tries to pull guard but Bravo won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edwin Langley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bravo wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Langley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bravo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Langley gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Langley tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Bravo avoids it. Bravo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
And that's the end of the fight! Edwin Langley showed his dominance in that final round. Well Langley has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
