The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson looks to score with a jab to the body but Nicklaus is just out of range.
Nicklaus has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nicklaus there as he acknowledges the shot.
Watson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nicklaus swivels and escapes.
Watson takes a swing at Nicklaus's ribcage but misses.
A low kick from Watson misses
and Nicklaus counters with a stiff right hand.
Nicklaus moves out of range as Watson strikes.
Watson throws a sloppy body shot
and Nicklaus cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Watson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Watson misses with a takedown
and Nicklaus counters with a nice low kick that buckles Watson's knee momentarily.

Nicklaus lands a big uppercut and Watson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Watson looks OK. Nicklaus waves Watson back to his feet!
