Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joe Kush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan McKay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kush might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Devin The Dude - Doobie Ashtray. McKay comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Land Down Under kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Kush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dylan McKay!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKay displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kush throws out the jab.
McKay has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Kush is landing a low percentage of strikes.
McKay tries to clinch but Kush moves out of range.
Kush throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

McKay connects with a right hand. Kush shakes it off.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
McKay throws an elbow but it misses.
Kush scores with a nice hook to the head.
Kush is trying to force a seperation but McKay has the dominant position.
McKay tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
McKay misses with some punches.

Kush pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kush throws a leg kick
and McKay counters with a nice leg kick.
McKay scoring well with a low kick there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McKay connects with a nice looking jab.

McKay thuds a left hand into Kush's body.
Kush walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
McKay misses with a wild combination.
Kush misses the shot to the body.
Kush misses the jab.
McKay lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
McKay jabs Kush right on the nose. Kush blinks but takes it well.
Kush on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Kush misses with a series of wild punches.
McKay takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.


McKay is rocked!


It looks like Dylan McKay has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A shot to the liver by Kush. Beautiful body shot.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kush crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from McKay - the referee stops the clock and Kush gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says McKay. Kush manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
McKay ducks under a wild hook from Kush.
McKay connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
McKay scoring well with a low kick there.

McKay moves out of range as Kush strikes.
A solid body kick from McKay.
McKay throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Kush scores with a sloppy right hand. McKay should have avoided that one.
Kush takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
McKay misses with a double jab.
Kush misses with an uppercut.
Kush scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
McKay is still on wobbly legs! Can Kush finish him?
McKay misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McKay seems to have recovered his senses.
A good leg kick by McKay.
Kush tries a low kick but McKay avoids it.
McKay explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
McKay is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Kush had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
McKay scores with a leg kick.
No joy there for Kush, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kush misses with a double jab.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
McKay walks into a left hand.
McKay lands a nice looking body shot.
McKay is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
McKay stuns Kush with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Good exchange - McKay coming out on top.
Dylan McKay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McKay clinches up against the cage.
McKay lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
McKay is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kush is defending well for now.
Kush blocks the elbow strike.
McKay lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Kush is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but McKay is keeping busy.
Nice body punch from McKay - that landed with a thud.

McKay makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
McKay scores with an uppercut up the middle.
McKay tries a body shot but Kush blocks it.
Kush blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
A head punch on the inside from McKay fails to land.
Kush on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
McKay lands on the inside with an uppercut.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
McKay misses with a punch on the inside.
Kush blocking some punches.
McKay misses with a body punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


McKay scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
McKay jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
McKay lands a lovely overhand right.
Kush drops his hands momentarily and McKay takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
McKay checks the leg kick.
McKay connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kush. Kush circles away out of range and recomposes himself.


Kush is rocked!
McKay getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Oh Kush is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kush cracks McKay with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McKay circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Kush drops to the canvas, hurt badly! McKay follows Kush to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dylan McKay!
Our winner, Dylan McKay, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
