Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Andy Killer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sean Hughes!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes throws a leg kick but Killer sees it coming and moves out of range.
A punch combination from Hughes misses.
Hughes slips a jab and a cross from Killer.
A punch combination from Killer misses.
Killer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hughes moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've been informed that Hughes has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Hughes slips a jab and a cross from Killer.
Hughes wants to clinch but Killer slips to the side
and Killer counters with a series of strikes. Hughes will be more careful next time no doubt.
Hughes tries for a takedown but Killer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sean Hughes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Killer defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hughes.
Hughes tries to score a power double leg takedown but Killer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hughes somewhat.
Andy Killer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Hughes.
Hughes shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Killer counters with a two punch combo.
Hughes looks winded!
Hughes slips a jab and a cross from Killer.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hughes closes the distance and clinches up with Killer, looking for a takedown. Hughes pushes Killer against the cage but Killer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Killer throws a series of punches but Hughes avoids them all with ease.
Killer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hughes tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Killer counters with a left and a right that stings Hughes.


Hughes is rocked!
Killer plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Hughes to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Hughes just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Andy Killer!
