Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stephan Walter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Threpoynt Wonforr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Stephan Walter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Threpoynt Wonforr! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walter fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A head kick from Wonforr lands but Walter takes it in his stride.
It looks like Stephan Walter has been cut. Wonforr feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Walters jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Wonforr stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wonforr wants it to stay on the feet. Walter looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A cross from Wonforr lands. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wonforr lands a nice looking kick to the body. Walter takes a step back to recover. Walter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wonforr looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Walter wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wonforr keeps working. Walter tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Wonforr struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wonforr dodges the ground and pound from Walter. Walter postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Walter throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Walter scoring with punches from side control. Wonforr gets back to half guard. Walter is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wonforr wants to control but Walter is keeping busy and won't allow it. Walter not landing any meaningful shots this time. Wonforr keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Wonforr trying to control from the bottom.
Wonforr manages to get to full guard.
Wonforr controls Walter momentarily but Walter frees himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walter postures up in Wonforr's guard and throws a big left but Wonforr blocks it. Wonforr avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Walter might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Walter loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Wonforr working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Walter. Walter postures up in Wonforr's guard and throws a big left but Wonforr blocks it. Walter landing some decent shots from guard. Walter postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wonforr avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Walter postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wonforr is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Walter, into his guard. Walter trying to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Walter is adopting a defensive guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Walter looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Stephan Walter will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Stephan Walter's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Wonforr connects with a nice looking jab.
Walter shoots in and drives through. Wonforr sprawls well. Walter fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Threpoynt Wonforr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walter takes a jab right on the kisser.
Walter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wonforr's waist but Wonforr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Walter off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stephan Walter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wonforr lands with a nice body punch. A punch combination from Walter misses. Wonforr throws a head kick that half lands.
Walter takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wonforr connects with a right hand. Walter shakes it off. Wonforr tests Walter's chin there with a solid looking shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wonforr misses with a few strikes there.
No luck for Walter with that takedown attempt. A jab from Wonforr misses. Crunch! Wonforr slams his shin into Walter's torso. Walter avoids the head kick by Wonforr.
Walter closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wonforr quickly recovers to half guard. Walter thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Wonforr blocking the ground and pound attempt from Walter. Walter thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wonforr's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walter looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Wonforr gets back to full guard.

Stephan Walter overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Walter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walter throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wonforr works some decent striking defense from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wonforr is on top in guard.
Walter wants to get back to his feet but Wonforr is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Wonforr looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Walter keeping moving, preventing Wonforr from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wonforr forces his way into half guard. Walter preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Wonforr is trying to control the action in half guard but Walter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Walter is trying to stand up here but Wonforr is controlling him well. Wonforr wants to lay and pray for a moment but Walter keeps working. Wonforr is thwarting Walter's attempts to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Threpoynt Wonforr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Stephan Walter's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Wonforr will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wonforr fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Nice sprawl there from Wonforr as Walter shoots in. Walter shoots in and bounces Wonforr off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Wonforr working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Walter. Walter is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Wonforr is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Wonforr has escaped and now he's on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Walter trying to control the position here. Walter throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Walter has control of Wonforr's left arm, preventing Wonforr from doing any damage. Walter has his foot on Wonforr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wonforr works his way back into a safe position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wonforr wants to control from the top but Walter keeps moving. Walter is trying to control the position but Wonforr postures up. Walter working for a triangle but Wonforr defends it easily.
Wonforr looking to pass the guard. Wonforr stands and throws Walter's legs to the side, diving into side control. Walter struggling a bit here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wonforr wants to control but Walter is keeping him busy. Walter prevents Wonforr from improving position. Walter is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Wonforr's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Walter trying to control here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wonforr tries to pass to full mount but Walter defends it. Walter trying to control from the bottom.
Walter is controlling Wonforr's position as best he can from this difficult position. Wonforr keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Stephan Walter. Walter shoots in for a takedown but Wonforr shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Wonforr is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Walter tries for a takedown but Wonforr circles away easily letting Wonforr counter with a right hand.
And that's the end of the fight! Stephan Walter showed his dominance in that final round. I think Walter has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
